    Hey BFK,

I didn't create a password during installation. Should I create one and then is there a utility that will allow me to log on without have to use it every time?

A password is a hindrance unless you need the extra privacy and security.

    Hello again.

I feel a password makes the system more secure and I leave UAC at default; were I you, I'd create a password and have a look at the tutorial at the link below.

You guys recommend a firewall program? I use ZA or is Windows good enough?

Should I start a new post for all these many questions coming down the pike as I tweak my new machine?

Also did the "Log on auto".

In Security Basic thread you can view what others have or say about their firewall protection.

Use MS Security Essentials with Win7 firewall which work perfectly together.

Avast 5 is the next best freeware choice.
