Will I face any problem with this intended new upgrade?

I have this notebook I upgraded from Vista Home Basic to 7 Home Basic. After the upgrade I found a new folder named Windows.old, which I deleted after double-checking. There was a couple of problems, like two Program files folders, some missing icons from the start menu, but nothing to worry about too much, and all have been fixed.

Now I intend to do a second upgrade on the very same machine, this time from 7 Home Basic to 7 Home Premium, and ask you to please give me some advice.

The system is working well with 7 HB, but I wonder if 7 HP might do any improvement other than those few extra features of Home Premium and the looks (all welcome). Besides, I wonder if I will face any problem with this intended new upgrade.

System specs:

Windows 7 Home Basic 32-bit
Intel Pentium T2060 1.60 GHz (CPU-Z says it's T2050)
2 GB RAM
110 GB HD

I must add that my main concern is not about data like documents and other stuff not system-related (I make regular backups), but about the apps I have installed, like Office 2007 H & S, PerfectDisk 11, DriverMax, WinZip, to name a few. Like the OS itself, they're all legit, registered software. I wonder if there will be any problem with these apps after such an upgrade.

Perfect disk 11 can easily be replaced by the free Auslogics Disk Defragger, unless you really want to pay. If you need to defrag System files to further shrink a partition, you can use the trial version of PD.

DriverMax isn't needed for Win7 and can make mistakes. Better to just rely on the installer and optional Windows Updates to provide drivers. What few are then missing in Device Manager can be found on the Support Downloads webpage for your model computer.

WinZip can be replaced by free 7Zip which is just as good.

Thanks for your attention, gregrocker. You mention the reinstallation of Office 2007, but I remember vaguely there is some method of transferring apps, configs and data from one system to another, and that's not via backup. Besides, if I upgrade from 7 HB to 7 HP won't it keep programs as they are now, no reinstallation needed?

As to alternative free apps, the problem (or solution) is that I have already paid for those I have and all their license keys are recorded or in products packs.

There's one thing I forgot to say: here in Brazil we don't have retail upgrade Windows 7 versions available, but the whole stuff only.

Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor said I can upgrade to 7 HP. But what I want is precisely to avoid the hard work of reinstalling, re-registering, re-activating, re-whatever...

Sorry I forgot to update it here, but all that doesn't apply anymore since someone broke into my apartment and stole my computers...
But now I have new ones and I thank you for the welcome advice and tips.
