It has me on a temporary profile... I used repair with win7 DVD to Fix the bootmgr, do I need to do repair a couple more times?
There may be 2 problems:
1. When you removed the Vista partition you may have removed the Win7 MBR - see here: Bootmgr is missing - Fix
2. Your Win7 may not be properly activated. Try this: Activate Windows 7 Online
Try to run the startup repair as many as 3 separate times with system restarts between the repairs to see if that will write the boot files back to the system.
I thought you were trying to repair an existing installation.
Where did you get the install disk from?
If all else fails, zero your HDD and reinstall. Windows 7 is a bit ridiculous with false "not genuine" messages after the slightest change in hardware or disk configuration. I just had a really satisfying conversation with the supervisor of one of microsoft's call center monkeys who tried to tell me I had to buy a new windows disk after I upgraded the HDD in a laptop I have for sale and then reinstalled windows using a decrapified system image, which gave me the expected windows not genuine message.
