You are supposed to change the boot order in the BIOS so it boots first from the ODD and do a clean install to the same partition as Windows 7 is installed to now.

Thanks every one it worked and kept my vista and my win7 in a folder called "old" was wondering if it is ok to delete the folder old?

yes you can safely delete the .old folder.

Make sure you have all of your files first as there are copies of them in windows.old in case you forgot to save some.
