The primary options would either be Boot Camp or a VM ware. MacWorld had a 3 page review on Boot Camp you can look over at Windows on Mac: What you need to know

As for VMWare and their latest Fusion 3(retail) is also emphasizing Run Windows on Your Mac, Now Faster than Ever

For setting up a dual boot of Windows with Mac, How to Dual Boot Your Mac is just one of several. Post #7 on another thread here at SF also somewhat outlines what you can use. How to Dual Boot Windows 7 and Mac OSX

If you want to do it via virtual software, you can use Parallels but I would recommend VMware Fusion as it generally tends to perform better. But if you do want to use it on Parallels, I would suggest you visit their website Parallels Desktop 5 for Mac, Run Windows on Mac - Parallels Desktop Virtualization Software and Solutions for further details on the product. If you look at their documents, it's pretty self explanatory on how to use it. If you still have further questions or want more details, let us know.

Alternatively, you can also use Boot Camp for which Apple will provide instructions if you try to set it up on your Mac. This is for the best performance and can be run natively on your Mac however, it would require to reboot into Windows as they would not run at the same time. Apple - Support - Boot Camp
