Install Windows XP in addition, just for gaming

I have Windows 7 Build 7100 and it runs great, but I want to install Windows XP for better gaming performance.
Do I need to reinstall my games for use with Windows XP? I don't know, I never ran two operating systems before

Hi extremepilot, welcome to the forums.

I've not dual booted before either, although i'm gonna try it soon . You would, however, need to re-install all your games for XP as the OS architecture is completely different (even if you installed some with compatability mode).

    Hope this helps :)

Have you tried running your XP programs in Windows XP mode. I have several programs going on it and it works a charm. That way you dont have to switch OS to play specific software, just open the application and it starts withing the Virtual XP Enviroment.

Highly recomended you give it a try.
