Windows 7 RC DVD won't boot

I have Win 7 beta and XP home on my laptop. Unfortunately try as I might I can't find my original Win 7 installation disk (think wifey threw it out ) which I believe I need to uninstall the beta.

However - when trying to get my laptop to boot from the new Win 7 disk it is completely ignored and goes to the dual boot window. Is there any way round my problem please?

    Thanks

Bad burn maybe? How did you create the disk? What's the boot sequence set to in the bios?

My word - that was quick - thanks.

Boot sequence has the DVD drive first - I've tried burning the iso twice now. Maybe the download was corrupt. I'll try downloading again and seeing what happens.

Try using Imgburn at 4x speed. Any problems just ask.

It could be that your DVD reader/BIOS has problems booting UDF file systems. I can't boot my DVD either though I get a Boot error code 5. Are you getting that error by chance?

I have to boot off a Gujin floppy to run setup.
