Dual Boot Windows 7 and Backtrack 4 R1

    Hello.

I have Windows 7 Ultimate as my original OS. It is the only OS currently installed on my computer but I want to install Backtrack 4 R1 so that I could perform a dual boot.

The last time I followed the instructions, on the BIOS boot menu it displayed both my Windows 7 OS and Backtrack 4 R1 OS but the computer was forcibly and automatically logging into the Backtrack 4 R1 even when I tried to press the 'Up and Down' arrows on my keyboard to select Windows 7 to start in the initial OS boot menu. I could not move up or down to make a preferential selection.

What could be the problem? Why is my computer forcing me to login to the alternative OS?

dude do you really expect that anyone on windows forum will answer that question here?:) Go linux.org. And yes you can install dual boot, I have it. thing is that you need to install LILO. LILO is a bootloader you need to dual boot. linuxboot wont cut it.

google man ffs...dont bitch about it on window forum...dont forget, Windows are just for DX11 games anyway:)) f* èm
