Combine both HDDs creating multi boot system with C: as Windows 7?

I have one HDD C: with Win7 64bit and another HDD from my previous dual boot PC with two partitions C: and E:, both winX pro.

How is it possible to combine both HDDs, creating a multi boot system having as C: my Win7 drive?

any advise would be highly appreciated!!!

If you windows 7 is the bootable disk, you can add the other disk's installed OS's to the boot menu. Using EasyBCD from NeoSmart Technologies you can alter the Windows 7 boot menu. Keep in mind that you can only chain from Win7/Vista (new boot loader) to XP and not the other way around. What that means is you can't add win7/vista to the XP boot menu (boot.ini).

This will not complicate your setup - you will be able to separate the drives and they will work independently. The only thing that will not work is when you boot with the Win7 drive, the XP menu options will not work, obviously, because the XP disk has been taken out.

In short: Add XP boot choices using EasyBCD to the Win7 boot menu. Win7 must be the bootable drive.

This tutorial should give you more details - .3 seconds on google... and its from this forum.
