You'll need to confirm the ISO or download another, burn to DVD with ImgBurn at 4x speed, or try writing to flash stick with Universal USB Installer.
You can extract the ISO to desktop to run Setup as Admin, however you'll need to have a known-bootable System Repair Disk for rescue purposes.
my dvd was dirty i retried but i think i'll have to reburn it.
Hi is this also possible to upgrade from Win 7 Enterprise to Windows 7 Professional N ?
I tried this method but when i click on update he says its not possible to upgrade from enterprise to Prof N onlöy to make a new copy.
So I probably did something worng.
Do I still need to write Professional in the Registry or Proessional N now?
I doubt if Enterprise can be used for workaround because it is engineering differently.
Hi Greg~ I'm not sure you're still here as this post is very old.
I'm trying to downgrade from Ultimate to Professional, and I used the instructions and followed to a T. (Here is also a picture of what I've typed into my registry.

I still get the error that I can't upgrade from Ultimate to Professional when trying to upgrade from my disk. Will this work if I'm on the "trial" version? (I didn't know which Windows I had when I reformatted my computer just recently, so I click ultimate and to register the key later. Come to find out the key was on the side of my computer the whole time, and it was professional)
Is there something I'm doing wrong?
