Just put the driver on a disk. How are you planning to install it if you can't get into Safe Mode?

Go to the video card maker's website and download the WIn7 driver for your model card.

Go into Device Manager and see what Driver is installed now for Video card under Display Driver.

Can you tell us what your vid card model is so we can help you find the correct driver to install it now?

The Device Manager may list the name it so confirm by Googling model number or card in slot to make sure it even has the right driver, then go to maker's website to be sure it is latest.

Check your optional Windows Updates for newer drivers than in the installer. Then look in Device Manager for any missing drivers - find them on the Support Downloads webpage for that model device.

In the Computer>Management window, click on Event Viewer>Admin View to google repeat errors to find out how others have resolved them. Do the same with the Performance log at Advanced Tools page accessed by clicking WEI score at Computer>Properties. Look for cued issues at top of Tools page, also Generate a System Health Report from there.

Type "Problems" in start search box to see if any solutions have been delivered for problems not reported, be sure to report any problems to MS as they may send solutions which are normally cued in Notification icon in bottom-right System Tray.

Use MS Security Essentials with Windows firewall. Clean and order your HD perfectly using free state-of-the-art CCleaner and Auslogics Disk and Regisstry defraggers.

After these steps, what are the exact performance issues? Did the display probs clear up?

Did you test the RAM using memtest86 CD for 5-6 passes, and HD using maker's diagnostics CD from link?

Check the mobo website for a newer BIOS version update, read any links or download file to read the REadMe file included to see if this might be an update needed for Win7. Then run the update from Win7 which is safer than flashing BIOS from DOS.

Ugh
Aside from the fact it takes years to load everything up, after i "install" all the new drivers, i am asked to restart my computer..
But it will never let me restart. It makes me do a repair setup then that tells me i have to restore using a back up.

Why must this be so complicated
