If you got the original from your uncle, why did you have to burn more install DVDs ?

Was it a retail Win7 DVD ?

Yes retail; the retail disc was running fine one day, then slow as hell the next. I thought maybe the disc was going bad (somehow) and burnt a few more to see if there was a problem or not.
And i have no clue why all my win discs are performing THIS slow :l
i take great care of all my cds/dvds so there really is no reason for this....

And it makes installation that much harder.

What did you burn the new DVD from?

If you have a 4gb+ flash stick then you can extract the ISO from retail install DVD and write it to flash stick to try install that way: USB Windows 7 Installation Key Drive - Create

Removing HD's should be no more difficult that carefully pulling the 2 cables from the back of each. Remember to ground yourself by touching case first, don't touch mobo.

Just finished getting the windows boot to my flash drive. Hopefully this works >.<
But does anyone know why the discs are slow? I have tried a few copies and that really only leads me to believe that it is the program itself that is whack. But it didn't start like this so hmmm. Wierd
