During reboot, tap the F8 key to get a menu that lets you choose Safe Mode

That may be the problem, can't finish because of Display adapter (driver) for video card.

During the DVD disc install did you have the computer connected to the internet by a ethernet cable, so you could get the latest updates & drivers from Microsoft ?

Doing a start up repair, seeing if that helps. No matter how many tines i reboot it brings ne to the FINAL setup, meeeeaning if i can fix the unwanted reboot during, the comp is fixes

Well, i did for the first few but took the ethernet out. Will i have to reinstall?

Edit-
that makes perfect sense. If i have to reinstall i'm okay with that but if therenis another way i'm down. As long as i'm getting closer to freedom

Yep, I believe we have to start from scratch. Complete Install with connection to the internet & choose let install get updates during install.

Yes this has been a tough one

I have a choice to install updates?
When i go through the installation, it gives the "updates" a checkmark
but i guess it is just skipping over that.
