Please post back a screenshot of your full Disk Management drive map, using Snipping Tool in Start Menu.

Look at this current thread to see how a similar situation is being resolved as it can very likely work for you too: Moving Windows 7 to another partition

    Hello aw22.

    This one, not that.

In the Windows start menu right click computer and click manage, in the left pane of the "Computer Management" window that opens click disk management and post a snip of that.

Disk 0 is my 1Tb HDD and I had prolem to install windows on 1Tb so I had to make 430Gb and 500Gb driver.
C: is where Windows has been installed and D: is where I store most of my files. as u see in that other ss what I posted.
And Disk 1 is my External Hard Disk.

If you reinstall Windows you will have to reinstall all the installed programs/apps as they can't be moved, just so you will be aware.

Is there room on D: to move/backup everything you want to save from the C:\Windows?

Everything on the C: will be lost if you do an install of Windows 7 to that partition.
