I mistakenly deleted the recovery partition when I was trying to formatting the hard drive, I don’t know much about how it works so what would be the best way to remake it and have it function the same way the other one did (which I also don’t know how that worked) or is there a better method.
This is also a new Samsung hard drive with windows 7 Home premium

Make a copy of your HD, If you have a problem you can fix it with the image. Same idea as the recovery partition
Place the image on a external hard drive.
The suggestion provided is how to backup and restore what you have right now.
There really is no way to recreate the Recovery partition because it contained a customized Window Image file (wib.img) built by the OEM. In addition to Win7, it most probably also included drivers and OEM-provided software and other utilities.
It's possible that the OEM might sell you a set of recovery DVDs, but you would have to check with them regarding availability and cost.
Thanks for the suggestions, I tried Macrium and made a copy of the hard drive to disk (didn’t have an external hard drive at hand) hoping it’ll work the same way.
it looks like it worked as there’s disk space used up, but when I look on the disk there’s nothing on it. Is that how it’s supposed to be?
Do you still have a bootable Win7 or did you format the entire HD?
If so, until you get an external (you need one) you can shrink Win7 to make a Primary partition to store a WIn7 backup image within:
Partition or Volume - Shrink
Partition or Volume - Create New
Backup Complete Computer - Create an Image Backup
If you formatted over WIn7 then you need to find a Win7 installer for your version to clean reinstall with Product Key on COA sticker, or order Recovery Disks (same as partition) from your computer maker. Depends on whether you want the factory bloatware or not.
If you have no external drive, you can make an image to the same disk. But you have to make it to a different partition - not to C. This is not ideal because it is pretty useless when your disk dies, but as an emergency setup it will work. I suggest you buy an external disk for the images or burn it to DVDs.

I would recommend to create a seperate folder for the images on the external drive. A seperate partition is not required. The folder helps to easily find the images in case of a recovery operation. The rest of the external disk can be used for anything.
Just be aware that each image will be appr. 50% of the used space in your OS partition. E.g. my images are appr. 8GBs for an OS partition that is 16GBs used space of 60GBs total partition size. My data is on another partition.
