You said that your BIOS error code was related to sleep. Rather than disabiling ACPI, I would first troubleshoot sleep until it works by finding the correct ACPI sleep setting, troubleshooting display driver if necessary, power mgmt issues, etc. This is what I would do to try to resolve the code or learn more about it. If you want to disable ACPI, go ahead.

ok, but if I disable Acpi windows will not boot.
And I read that if I disable Acpi I will not be able to reinstall Windows because it cannot be installed without it.

What do you think??

Automatic restart on system crash
I've been getting a load of BSOD's lately, but when I go to safe mode to turn OFF the above (it tells me to highlight the command to turn off and Enter), the next blue screen I get still reboots. How can I get the blue screen to stay there?
