7137 installation space

    7137 installation space


    Hey people Im just wondering how much space did 7137 x64 had taken from hard drive? im just surprised it was installed on 15GB. Last build installed on over 20gb

    Seems weird that it was reduced by 5 gigs. Maybe 7137 is purely Ultimate, and does not include the other versions along with the language packs?


    Is that right after you installed it, or did you already disable hibernate? Cause i see a firefox icon and that does not come in the installer. :P

    Well at that point Y only had installed FF and Thunderbird, Havent disable hibernation

    soft i've installed:
    FF
    Thunderbird
    Update Nvidia Gfx driver

    That's weird. My 7100 and 7127 only take up about 6 gigs.

    Would it happen to be x86?
    I know that has a much smaller footprint than 64bit.

    But I have another PC with Win7 RC x86 it takes up space up to 13 gigs..........

    Yes it's x86 Version. This is all I use and I haven't touched anything except disable hibernate file. Pagefile is on another disk.

    Am I dreaming!? Well, I've even tested out vista home basic x86 on my 20 gb partition and it took about 13 gb........and I've disabled hibernate and pagefile is on the other partition...whoa win7 is really great!
