    logical drive partition ok?


    is it ok that one of my partitions is listed as a logical drive?

    ...as it only contains data, and you are not trying to boot from it.

    That is perfect - else you would run into the NTFS limit of 4 primaries which is the maximum. They way it is, you can add a lot of more logical partitions. As was said, logical partitions have only one real restriction: They cannot be active partitions (boot partitions).

    It can be made a primary with Partition Wizard if you choose, have a look at Option Four of this tutorial at the link below; if you're going to do that, do it before you store anything there.
