    FORMAT the HDD.
    4. If you use a Firewall - uninstall it or Disable it.(stated in earlier post).
    5. If you have a AntiViris - uninstall it...(stated in earlier post).
    6. Install Win7 and enjoy.

Well, taking your advice I formatted the HD with my windows XP on it and am now stuck with no OS. Trying to install windows 7 with the disk is still unsuccessful. I disconnected my other HD with all my files backed-up on it and only have the blank HD connected. Still the disc never makes it past "Starting Windows"

EDIT: The more I read over my problem it almost sounds to me like Windows 7 is already installed, which it isn't. But to clarify here is a link to my startup of my computer and attempt at installing "7"

Playing that last one in a loop is about the same experience I have had for the past umpteen hours. Just sticks on that logo

So no ideas? I really do not want to go through the process of reinstalling Windows XP and getting all kinds of drivers and whatnot back....
