No system listed in boot tab

I want to set up to run both core processors at start up. I ran msconfig. Selected the boot tab. There is no operating system listed. Without a system listed, I can not select advanced. I downloaded Easy BCD. Upon running, it gives an error that no BCD file is found. I am at a loss.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks,
    Bob

Welcome to Seven Forums rfmanning. this from the EasyBCD forum:

EasyBCD is using the BCD file on a different partition than the one you are booting from. Be sure to select the correct BCD file at EasyBCD startup.

I personally have never used EasyBCD, so if this isn't obvious, I'm sure someone will be along with personal experience. A Guy
