Now would be a good time to fill out your system specs.. the more specific you can be the better.

Test your RAM with all sticks plugged using memtest86 CD for 5-6 passes or overnight to stress test it. http://www.memtest86.com/download.html

Remove all but 2gb RAM to try install.

You need to verify the ISO HASH and the DVD burn.

Use Hashtab to verify against official Win7 HASH

Next Install ImgBurn, load ISO, choose Verify DVD, make sure it says Bootable in text at left, then insert DVD and Click Verify. If necessary burn another DVD at 4x speed. http://download.cnet.com/ImgBurn/300...-10847481.html

Try zeroing the HDD before reinstalling. What's probably happening, if it isn't a problem with your CD/DVD drive or the disk you're using, is that you have fragments of data from previous installs that are causing problems.

boot from the DVD then type shift+f10
when the command prompt opens and x:/sources appears type the following commands, one at a time and press enter after each one

    Diskpart
    list disk
    sel disk 0
clean all (this will take a long time because it erases your entire HDD much more thoroughly than formatting
    exit
then click install windows now and select the custom installation option
click on drive options, create a new partition, format it, then proceed with installing windows

There is a tutorial that shows how to do a wipe "secure erase" at this link below; feel free to have a look.

Have you tried everything else suggested?

Zeroed the HD before trying install?

Removed all but 2gb of RAM to try install? Test RAM with memtest86.

Do you have the latest BIOS update? If so, clear the CMOS: http://pcsupport.about.com/od/fixthe.../clearcmos.htm

Then set the SATA controller in BIOS setup to AHCI first. What are the other settings offered?

I see symptoms of RAM going bad...
Try installing using just 1 stick, or use another new set of RAM...
