Power-On Password.

Would reinstalling a OS remove the power on password?

And one last question, should i upgrade from windows 7 to ubuntu 10.10?

Windows 7 x86/x64, Server 2008r2, Web Server 2008
 
 

The power on password is built into the bios. so no reinstalling the os will not remove it.
