so i got thru everything i deleted the disk (fresh install) etc. but when it istalled i got an error (something like 0.00008 or 0x00008 can't remember) i thouth ok i will try to install it again. I turned of the computer and turned it back on again and it showed only the asus welcome sign and it wouldn't do anything else. The install disks don't efect it at all (original win vista - recovery; win 7 home premium) and i can't get to bios or anything else, i can only flash bios (witch i tried didn't work). So please help me....

What happens if you tap F8 at bootup? WIll any F keys work at all? Enter BIOS setup?

What happens if you put the WIn7 DVD in the drive and press key to boot DVD? Can you get to Repair choice on second screen?

Remove all peripherals and other HD's besides target. Reinstall your graphics card and/or any other cards.

    hi

Only the f4 key works but it gets to the bios flashing thing. When i put the dvd nothing happens i can press any button i like still nothing. And btw you couldn't get into bios even before that thing happend... there are no peripherals connected to it. And i don't want to take it apart... because it's a laptop...

What "BIOS flashing thing" comes up at F4? Can you post back a camera snap or type out the text that comes up?

If you couldn't access BIOS before then you had serious problems. Have you talked or chatted with the manufacturer's Tech Support?

When the computer boots up press F12, F2 or delete key. one of those should get you into the BIOS, Make sure the disc is in the tray.
If you get into the BIOS scroll over to BOOT press enter and change to boot order to CD/dvd then press F10
and enter that should get your unit booting off the disc. Let us know what happens?

    hi

This is the bios flash (update) thing... the f4
this is it when there isn't any disc in the tray: Imageshack - dsc00277wi.jpg

this is it when there is a windows cd in the tray: Imageshack - dsc00278d.jpg

and this is it when there is an original driver cd in the tray: Imageshack - dsc00282bd.jpg

And as i said non of the f keys work even if there is a cd inserted, the del key dosen't work too.

No i didn't talk to the manufacturer, because there was no need to talk to them, because everything was fine i didn't need to contact anyone.... And there would be no point in conatacting them now because the warranty expired.

    P.S. sry for the english
P.P.S. sorry i didn't answer sooner, i live in a different time zone.

Edit: i forggot one thing i was able to get into bios but only when i got into the safe mode meniu (f8) and then if i pressed del it would get me into the bios.

It looks like you have a failed BIOS update which never completed so it's prompting for the CD to complete it.

What I would do is go find the lastest BIOS update on the manufacturer's Support Downloads webpage for your model computer or mobo, or by googling it. Unzip the file and place the required files to do the BIOS flash on the CD, then hope that it will complete the BIOS flash.

A failed BIOS update can make a computer unbootable. Fortunately for you your computer is not only bootable but prompting for the BIOS flash file to complete the BIOS flash. So the remedy is to provide it with the lastest BIOS update flash file by unzipping this to CD.

You may need to engage your Tech Support to help you to rescue the BIOS flash, or try the tech support forum of the motherboard (Asus, Gigabyte, etc.) being flashed. There are experts on this in our Hardware forum here, as well.
