7100 timebomb

You have several options.

1-upgrade to 7200 which will not timeout till 2010.
2-find a key that doesn't time out
3- see if there is some sort of timerstop (there is)
4-there are also other (read non legal) methods of stopping the shutdown

You dont have to worry yet though the rev that times out at the end of this month is 7000 beta not 7100 RC.

Good luck

Ken

You won't have to worry about it until March 2010 and then it will start shutting down every 2 hours for a period of 1 month and then will be unusable after that.

Don't use cracks or hacks, most of them will have unforeseen side effects.
