    Can you install windows 7 rc by autorun on vista?


    I did this with the beta and it worked will it work on the rc?

    Clean because upgrades give me problems :S but anyway there will be a folder called windows.old

    You will have to run the install from a flash dive Install Windows 7 FAST without a DVD or USB device

    If you have any sort of secondary storage (flash drive, USB hard disk) you can use the following tutorial

    Windows Easy Transfer - Transfer To & From Computers

    This will allow you to format your machine (after the transfer) and have the cleanest install. Then you can just transfer back.

    Have a read and see if that will help :)
