    xbox 360 pc controller help


    xbox 360 wireless controller for windows not recognize by my pc need help....?

    gonna need more info than that . Do you maean the xbox cross fire reciever or the controller

    the charge and play cable is only for charging the controller, does not allow for USB control on the PC.
    I see quite a few people hook it up that way not realizing that it won't work.

    Do you have this Wireless adapter?

    btw, I plugged in my receiver and Win 7 recognized it and installed the drivers automatically, then I synced my controller and played Just Cause 2 for a few hours last week.

    If you have the off-brand Chinese 360 Adapter then there are some steps you have to do to get it to install in Win 7 properly.
    there was a thread here a week or two ago about other adapter, I'll see if I can find it.

    ya the xbox controller for windows the receiver cannot be recognize by windows 7.. i plug it up and my pc doesn't even acknowledge that i plug a device...
    is the receiver broken? thanks

    it may be broken. try it in another PC and see if I gets detected or not.

    thanks bro the problem is the receiver it self is china copy so i return it... and a i get my money back... he told me its original Microsoft. thats why the windows dont recognize it....
