As I explained, failing to delete XP during install using the steps I gave you means it has placed its boot files on XP partition. In order to delete XP now other steps must be taken for Win7 to remain bootable.

Please post back a screenshot of your full Disk Management drive map using Snipping Tool in Start Menu and we will give you the steps.

Would have been a lot easier to delete XP in one step which I gave you above.

Well right, doing it that way you should have your boot files in place. Hope that the upgrade disk finds the old install and you are able to activate. Good luck to you with your install

Good to see you have it all sorted; the format, create, delete option is present at this dialog box during the installation process, click "Drive Options (advanced)" when it's presented.

It looks like I missed that small detail. I restarted the computer after some updates and I didn't have to choose between OSs. Thanks for all the help every one. Hopefully this solved the problem.
Good news then Runner
are you activated then?
