Windows 7: dual boot system how do I get XP back

dual boot system how do I get XP back

I had a dual booting system with win 7 and XP (thanks to this great group). It worked flawlessly for a year. Then one day, the circuit that the computer was on tripped (had a heater on in the room on the same circuit).
After resetting the circuit breaker, the win7 MRB(boot manager) seemed to be screwed up. Now, only XP showed up in the boot manager. Windows 7 seemed to be gone.
When I boot into xp, it went through the startup process, but instead of getting the desktop, it rebooted. Then, at the end of the boot up I got nothing ... no xp or windows 7.
What I got were all these error messages about my hard drive. However, I knew they were fine because I tested them with diskchk on another computer and found no errors.
I read a thread here about fixing Win7 by running the disk repair 3 times. This worked, and then I got Windows 7 back.
But now I have no XP in the boot manger.
So I followed another thread how to use EasyBCD 2.0 to add XP to the boot Manager. This did add it to the MRB, but when I try to go into XP it just gives me a black screen.
I have included pics of the EASYBCD 2.0 and my disk management.
Can somebody help get XP back up and running. All my boys' favorite star wars game are on this drive and they're driving me crazy!
Thanks so much you guys are the best.

Since you have separate HD's you can boot either OS via the BIOS boot order or BIOS one-time Boot Menu which is normally F8 or ESC on Asus. THis will make the Windows-managed Dual Boot unnecessary and free the HD's to come and go as you please without complication.

To fix XP now, unplug the Win7 HD, set XP HD as first to Boot in BIOS setup (or swap the WIn7 cable to it) then run an XP Repair Install following these steps closely: XP Repair Install

After XP starts, change the BIOS boot order back to Win7 as first HD to boot (or swap cable back) then when you need to boot XP, press the Asus F8 or ESC keys at bootup to open Boot Menu popup.

If you continue to get a Windows-managed Dual Boot menu then use EasyBCD 2.0 to Edit Boot Menu and remove listings. Or you can configure a Dual Boot by on Add OS if you want to go that way.
