Thanks Gary, so then do I only need to partition about 20gb then for the installation? Since I will continue using my original C drive for installing new programs and downloading new files, so I'd like to leave as much room on there as I could. Anyways, it looks like this installation may actually happen (aiming for tomorrow), the download is 85% complete! I'm still hoping someone can address the "what to do if the installation goes bad" aspect of my original post. Although by the sounds of it, since I'm not replacing Vista, I can just boot up in Vista if Windows 7 is crashing or does not install correctly? And I don't have to worry about my files getting erased either?
