Did you try making the bootable flash stick using UltraISO trial version or Win2Flash? Worth trying at least.

Hi, Win7 can make a system repair disc but how to burn it to a USB thumb drive? I am using a netbook so there is no DVD drive. I think I should make a boot-able USB thumb drive and copy the contents of the repair disc to it? But not sure about the details. Appreciate your advice.
