    Reinstalling Windows

Hi Guys -- Yea, I have to do that. There are three files that I need to save before I reinstall. Can someone tell me what the name of the Outlook 2003 Address Book file is, the Thunderbird Address Book file and the Internet Explorer 8 Favorites file? I am not able to use Macrium because of some other problems, so I have to do it from scratch. Thanks,

You can Export IE8 favorites to bookmarks file from the Favorites>Add to>Export button. The same Favorites should also be in the active User's Favorites file.

I know that the Internet Explorer favorites directory is C:\Users\Username\Favorites. I'll report back if I find out about the other two.

If I am correct, Outlook should be under,,,

    c:\users\profile name\appdata\local\microsoft\outlook

it should either be a .PST file, or a .PAB file.

    Favorites are stored in,,,,

    C:\Users\profile name\favorites

I do not know about Thunderbird.

However,, Greg's way might be safer.
