Nothings wrong with it, I just don't want to be caught with a illegal copy. I am trying to stay as clean as a possibly can. :-) Oh, and all of my drivers and everything is up to date. That was the first thing I checked. and DxDiag runs just fine, and doesn't report any errors.

Do you have a Product Key on COA sticker?

If so, then there is no worry about using an installer of the same version and bit-rate to do a Repair Install.

Just reactivate at Computer>Properties after Repair.

Hey People,

I have FINALLY, after month's of searching, found, and fixed the problem. It was an extremely simple fix, including no command line, clean install, repair install, memory checks, or any of the other plethora of possible, but incorrect fixes. It turned out to be something with my audio enhacement drivers/something. To fix it I:

Sound Settings > Speakers > Properties > Enhancements > Disable all Sound Effects > Sound Blaster > Disable All Enhancements

As odd as it may seem, the audio quality was not decreased in the slightest. Thanks for the much apprieated help from Tea, Gregrocker, yowanvista, and Brink.

Hope this helps somebody,

I wonder if turning off SoundBlaster's installed software in msconfig>Startup would have accomplished the same thing.

I've never let audio software into Startup list before, as just with video and other audio packages they are not needed unless you use special software-created settings (or "enhancements")?

Good work on tracing the problem.
