On my recent Gigabyte MB. Award Bios



Bios setup
Intergrated Peripherals On Chip Sata Type enter

Then I have 3 choices:

Native IDE
RAID
AHCI



Mine is set as Native IDE right out of the MFG box 2 weeks ago.

I only have main/advanced/power/boot/tools/exit
No Integrated Peripherals, and before you ask it isn't under advanced.

I just booted another older computer to Bios, same options.

If it is anywhere, there should be someting under advanced, or boot options.

Or boot installer from a 4gb or larger flash stick: easiest method is to extract ISO from DVD using ImgBurn, install ultra ISO trial version, on File tab Open ISO, on Bootable tab Write Disk Image, Format, Write. Boot under USB or HD's.
