    Dual boot 32/64

I'm a newbie to beta software, so please forgive my ignorance on this subject.

I wanna see what all the buzz about 64bit is about.

I downloaded and installed RC 7100 32bit and running it with a dual boot to XP sp3 32bit.

Could I dump the RC7100 32 bit (by reformatting the partition) and installing the 64 bit version and still dual boot with XPsp3 32?

    Hello Welcome to SevenForums,michaelst

Hope that you have a good stay here on SF. Yes you can if your hardware is capable of it. You can keep your xp install intact and install another version of win 7 with no problems. Hope this has helped, lm

You can also Triple boot, install Win7 x64 (if your system allows) andwhen ask select a NEW CLEAN Partition. just like you installed Win7 x86. Only now you can pick and choose which OS to boot into...
Then you can compare Win7 x86 and Win7 x64. simply by rebooting an pick.

Now before I reboot I simply start -> msconfig -> select boot -> and check the OS I want default. it then says You must REBOOT before this works... Of course you want to REBOOT to your default.

    Triple Boot.
