Stuck on "Setup is preparing your computer for first use"

While waiting for the 7 Professional x64 installation to be finished, the screen shows " setup is preparing your computer for first use". The computer keeps reading the DVD drive about more than half hour and does not go to the normal desktop. I started from clean installation.

CD is Windows 7 Professional (x64) from Retail Stores.
Did startup repair about 4 times - says that it could not find a problem
    Did few reinstall.
Tried the three bootrec on command prompt - did not fix problem
Tried chkdsk and chkdsk /f - did not fix problem
Tried sfc /scannow - says that cannot be started because of startup repair and needs to be rebooted (tried that, problem still exist)

    Any help would be appreciated...

EDIT: enabling low resolution in f8 Seemed to fix the problem.

is this on an hp computer? im restoring my hp laptop right now with recovery discs but it says it's installing software an all of a sudden it turns black. then i have to hard reset it and when it wakes up again it says "Setup is preparing computer for first use" then it says that my installation is corrupted (perhaps beacuse of the hard reset)

it's beacuse of the lame black screen freeze (which is why i did recovery discs in the first place)
do you think setting low resolution in the bios will fix this?

I do not use an HP Computer. I have a custom PC (made by myself and my neighbours)

You set low resolution by pressing f8 before Windows boots, not in BIOS.
