No matter what you do, if you do a clean install you will have to reinstall all the programs/apps that you use, they integrate themselves into the Windows registry and are not moveable from one Windows install to another so be sure to save the activation keys where applicable.

Two or three people in this thread have suggested methods to do as you want, I just suggested another way to go, go back and look through the earlier posts in this thread.

If you ghost your install - meaning clone or image it - you will indeed copy over your programs along with the installation exactly as it exists on the HD when you clone or make the image.
As explained, only if you clean reinstall will you have to also reinstall all of your programs.
