If win 7 will not let you do it, paragon disk suite 2009 will.

BTW the trial (30 days) if free.

I used Partition magic as well but it doesnt work in either vista or win 7. Paragon may be 32 bit but there may be a 64bit version. If not you could try the 32 on it anyway

Let us know how it works

ok i just tried paragon and it gave me the message paragon cannot install on this OS

it appears that they do have an x64 version of theyre partition manager but only the 32 bit version has a free trial.

just shrink volume and create an extended partition with disk manager...

right click computer>manage>under storage click disk manager>right click c:\ >shrink (u'll want a size of about 20gb or greater) then search download easybcd from neosmart.net (how to use is explained on there somewhere as well).

    Now that stinks

Almost any good disk suite will do the same just do a google on 64 bit disk managers. Hope this helps a little

You will need to defrag your drive

You will find that there are so many fragments taking up space all over your hard drive that you will get small shrinkage. I've done this on a Vista lappy i fixed & almost doubled the space available to shrink.

    Hope this helps :)
