Anyway of getting an installationcdwhenupgradingtoWindows7PRO

Hi i have two Windows 7 based computers both windows seven Home Premium edition.
Mayor mayor bummer that i don t have the cd with that in case of system failure both licensed keys and the installation files are on the d drive****Anybody knows where i can get the cd file ? NOT looking for CRACKS OK....... Just don t feel comfortable with files on the d drive and as paid for those key i should get a cd with that right
Now i want to upgrade one of these computers to Professional edition...
As i need too install that computer in an other language...french to be exactly;;;;This is possible right in windows professional?
Means upgrading that i get another file on my D drive with a serial i guess?

Kind regards from Belgium and thank you very much for your assistance

Hi broeckie.

Do you not have any installation media at all? No Recovery partition or anything? I assume this is what you are talking about when talking about your D drive.

AS far as installing in French goes, yes this is more than possible, you just select "French" from the drop down menu when it ask's for your language.

As far as upgrading goes, it might be worth looking into Windows Anytime Upgrade: Windows Anytime Upgrade - Enable or Disable rather than trying to get a (potentially dodgy) ISO from somewhere.

The only problem with that, is that once you have your upgrade key, I think you would need to reinstall Home Premium, then enter the upgrade key if you ever need to reinstall.

Make your recovery disks so you have a path back to factory condition. You can also run the Recovery Partition from boot. ACER PC Restore to factory settings

You can reinstall using any WIn7 retail installer for your version with the Product Key on COA sticker: re-install windows 7

For repairs to the OS, you can make a Repair CD here: System Repair Disc - Create
