    $windows.~Q


    It is my understanding that the directories and files under the referenced are remnants from upgrading OS's and thus may be deleted being of no practical value. Is this statement correct?

    Hello Mark,

    That would be correct. The $windows.~Q folder is safe to delete. :)

    See step 18 here for more information on this if you like.
