    Single to Raid ?

Is it possible to take an exising backup of a single drive,
and restore it to a newly created raid 0?

    As in,
    I have a 64gb SSD, it's backedup.

I want to get another 64gb SSD,

Will I have to re-install everything or can I just restore the backup and let windows find the proper drivers ?

    Hello Symp,

If you created a system image of the drive and saved it to another drive than what you wanted to use in the RAID 0, then yes you can do a system image recovery to the new RAID 0. In addition, since the image is of a smaller drive than what you will be restoring it to, you will also need to use Disk Management to extend the drive into the left over "Unallocated Space" after the recovery.

    Hope this helps,
    Shawn
