Vista to 7 upgrade, no monitor output after start

I'm having an issue with my monitor displaying anything during the upgrade from 64bit Vista Ultimate to 64bit 7 Ultimate. I've searched the forums a bit but it seems like most similar problems, the user is able to boot into safe.

The BIOS screen comes up, followed by the "starting Windows" screen, then monitor goes to Digital Powersave Mode and turns black. I'm guessing it is a driver issue but I'm unable to continue setup after Win logo or boot into safe mode. If I try to boot from safe, it comes up with an error of "Cannot continue setup from safe mode, please restart" or something of the sort.

Any suggestions? I've tried an analog connection from the onboard and svideo to my tv since those are the other ports available on my card/board.

Google the monitor's manual or call/chat Tech Support to find out how to turn off Digital Powersave Mode, or borrow another monitor for install,. Plug it back in afterwards to install it.
