    The 0x80070241 Problem

After lots of hours of failed installations, 3 burned disks and mounted images I give up. After about 25% the setup of the Windows 7 RC1 the 0x80070241 Error occurs. I already downloaded it 2 times and tried several "solutions".

    Can anyone help me please?

Burned at a slower speed, right?

Try 1x or burn it on a different computer.

Or try the USB installation approach. Bing or Google it.

    Welcome Departed,

We probably need more info, what win7 Build, x32 or x64 ?

Your specs on your equipment ?

A Clean install or Upgrade, to a new HD or New partition ?

from the explanation it seems to be a file missing or corrupt
Windows cannot copy files required for installation. The files may be corrupt or missing. Make sure all files required for the installation are available, and restart the installation. Error Code: 0x80070241

Where did you get the ISO and did the hashs match, failing that there may be a problem with the burner.

    Waiting for info

Seems to be the only thing I didn't try that much.

It is x32 and a clean install to a new partition.
When it comes to post specs I mostly don't get anything but if something's missing just say so:

    Intel Core 2 Duo CPU
    E6750 @ 2.66GHz
    2.67GHz, 2,00 GB RAM

    Nvidia Geforce 7800 GTX

I got from Microsoft, still. It could be the burner, yeah.
