What issues are you referring to, list them and we'll see if there's any suggestions.

Thanks for your efforts. This thing has too many to try and list and I don't know where to start. I am just going to ditch this one and get another. Thanks.

Please be patient waiting for help and don't be a quitter because challenges present themselves.

The floppy error means it is interfering with your boot and needs to be removed from the BIOS Boot order. In fact I would physically unplug the drive and remove it wherever it appears in the BIOS.

You want F2 to enter BIOS setup to set your boot order and remove the floppy. Set DVD drive first, then HD.

Once you remove the floppy see if HD will boot without disk. If not, set HD as first to boot and check again. If it still will not boot with DVD in drive, boot into DVD Repair console to Startup Repair - Run 3 Separate Times.

Use the Snipping Tool in Start Menu to make a rectangular snip of your maximized full Disk Mgmt drive map with listings, and post it back.

All is well now. The problem was several issues. Yes the boot was off and we did remove that floppy drive option. Also we did a re-installation of Windows 7 upgrade over top of Windows 7 upgrade (anyone ever hear of that before?) and it took the key numbers. That is the straingest thing I ever heard of when it comes to reloading an OS. All updates came in and the unit is up and runnin. Now the fun part of finding all my disks for some of my devices. Does anyone out ther have the program for a Dell A940 all in one printer? I have the drivers but cant seem to locate the actual software. Thanks and I will keep you all posted and to what else happens here.

Go to Dell.com website & put in your service tag number & look for downloads for the A940 printer.

As stated in the tips I gave you for a perfect install Reinstalling Windows 7

The installer is mostly driver-complete, with newer arriving quickly via optional Windows Updates. Just in case, have your Wireless driver on flash stick or CD so you can get online quickly. Then enable hardware driver auto-updating and check for optional Updates.

Any drivers still missing in Device Manager can be found on the Support Downloads webpage for your model computer or device. Driver Install - Device Manager
Follow Doc's advice to get your printer software package off Dell's webpage for that printer. It may work find with just the driver which I would try first. It should be delivered by optional Windows Updates if you have the printer plugged in and turned on and have enabled hardware auto-updating as given above.
