    Upgrade Vista 32 bit with Win7 RC1?

If this has been talked about before bear with me :). I have a laptop with Vista Home Premium x86 and I would like to see how it runs Windows 7. Can I use RC1 to do an "in place upgrade" of Vista? TIA for any help...

    In short, yes you can

Also, this will keep any 3rd party 'System Restore' software that may be pre-installed with Vista.

If you can do a dual boot, you will then be able to do a comparison through there is no doubt Win 7 will win out in the long run. Enjoy it is a great system. :)

Yes dual booting would be an option. Since I'm doing that already on my desktop you'd think it would have occurred to me. I would just have to partition the disk. Thanks!
