    Win7 will always be C when you're multi-booted into it, unless you install it from another OS at the time that OS has the letter claimed.

    Ah! that's right, that's what I did differently.

    When I installed the x32 build on D I was in the OS on C: and ran the install from there, thanks for reminding me of that.

    I'll need to go wipe and re-install the x64 on D now.

    No probs though the boot disk may come in handy at a later time.
