where can i download it if my URL expired?

I bought the digital copy of windows 7 not long after it came out, i got the 32 bit version, but now im interested in changing to the 64 bit (mostly for more ram)

my question is, am i allowed to do this, since i bought 32 bit am i stuck with that? or cna i change over to 64 bit on the same license?

if i AM allowed to change, where can i download the 64 bit version.

Yes, you can use the same key on a 64 bit install of the SAME edition provided you uninstall the current one completely.

The iso installers for the digital version are available on the internet. I'd give you a link but forum rules dont allow. Just google.

kind of sad i cant donwload it from Microsoft officially.. who knows what im really downloading : /

If you downloaded the 32 bit version from Microsoft, try contacting them.

I bought two Win7 upgrade licenses from the Microsoft Store by pre-order in the summer of 2009. I visited the original download links yesterday, and found that they were still live. I checked because the .iso files that they serve up now contain SP1, which will be convenient if I ever need to repair my current installations (both of which have been updated to SP1). The links permitted me to download both the X86 (32 bit) and X64 versions, either as .iso or .exe.

Things may be different in AU than in the USA, but it wouldn't surprise me if Microsoft had a way for you to re-download the installer, and that they'd also allow you to download either 32 or 64 bit versions. I'd begin by requesting a new download link; you don't need to complicate the issue by mentioning your interest in switching to X64. (Switching is entirely legitimate, if you stick to the one license/one PC restriction.)
