    "jmb36x ide setup" Can I remove from Boot??


    OS is Windows 7 x64 bit and I do not use RAID, I simply have 3 SATA magnetic Hard Drives my main boot drive is a 128 GB SSD iaStor Drive.

    Motherboard is Gigabyte model GA-EP45-UD3P rev 1.1

    "jmb36x ide setup" loads with start-up, is this necessary or would not loading it cause a very serious issue or failure with my computer?

    The jmb36x (GIGABYTE SATA2, really JMicron) chip also controls the IDE channels

    "1 x IDE connector supporting ATA-133/100/66/33 and up to 2 IDE devices"

    I would not disable it.

This is a bit of an odd issue, and everyone I've asked has been stumped. Every time I reboot my laptop after the loading screen it shows the "Setup is preparing your computer for first use" screen for about 10 seconds before proceeding as usual. I have a part time job building (and imaging)...
Hello! ... How about removing these two: "Restore previous versions" and "Share with"
safe to assume its impossible to remove the "open" and the "merge" entries from the context menu? I figure if i want to open or merge them i would simply double click. Clutter and redundency in this vein dont suit me :P
after the boot screen 237513 i got this message 237516 after that it continue normally but usually i didn't get that i have no idea what's the problem can anyone help?
My laptop froze after entering a wrong product key. I then pressed the shut down button till my computer went off. I restarted the computer and chose the "start windows normally" option. The laptop boots to "setup is preparing for first use" screen. It lasts for about 1 minute and then the computer...
