You want to borrow or find an installer with SP1. If it isn't the same version then as explained in the link I posted for getting a perfect install you can unlock all versions in the installer by extracting the ISO file using ImgBurn then running the ei.cfg removal tool: Unlock any version eicfg removal tool

Checking the HASH against the official HASH is just a precaution that nothing has been added if you download the ISO. You can also read the comments on the download, but at least always run a Malwarebytes scan on the downloaded ISO before burning it to DVD using ImgBurn at 4x speed.

Feel free to ask back any questions. Reinstalling Windows 7

    hi gregrocker.
so aslong as i can get a clean win7 home prem x64 sp1. i can just use that. does it hav to b the same build number? (7601)
i dont realy want to go down the route of removin the ei.cfg file. i smoke loads of weed n can see me gettin lost tryin it lol. wot is the difference between win7 n and win 7?

EDIT: unlocker just zapped it lol. good stuff.i havent rebooted yet to see if anything doesnt work.touch wood tho. so il create a new backup and aslong as no more probs pop up in the near future then i wont need to do a clean install. chuffed !

I included the ei.cfg tool in case you have available or come across another version installer.

It is quite easy then you have one installer for all versions that lasts for life, or SP2, whichever comes first.
