    master jumper ide disk

i got sata disk with windows 7 on it,and ide disk...i changed jumper on ide to master..?? now in bios, ide configuration ,onboard ide controller is enabled, serial ata devices are mark as "device0/1" .(i have sata dvd/rw and sata disk)..is that ok.... problem is when starting pc ,after changing jumper from cable select to master, althought its only ide device ,my pc takes time about 30 sec to list all devices....what to do to solve it and still leave ide as master..thx!

Why did you change it from Cable Select? What is the make a and model of the drive? some older IDE drives had a Jumper for Master Single and no Jumper for Master w/Slave, or vice versa.

    Storage Devices
    WDC WD800BB-22JHC0 80GB (ATA100, 2MB Cache) : 75GB
    WDC WD6400AAKS-22A7B0 (640.1GB, SATA300, 3.5", 7200rpm, 16MB Cache)
TSSTcorp CDDVDW SH-S223F (SATA150, DVD+-RW, CD-RW, 2MB Cache) : 3GB...because i was told before i can make it master with no problem if its only ide something....now pc works, but my ami bios list about 20 sec all devices which didint before??
pri master: ide hard disk (which is ok ,it is ide disk)
3th master: atapi cd rom (why not say satait is sata dvd/rw)
4th: master: ide hard disk (also, why ide ,when its wd6400aaks saat disk?)

set all unused ide ports to N/A or disabled (depends on your BIOS) That might speed up the process

Why did you change from Cable select to Master? If it worked correctly with Cable select, put it back.
