I bought this through the Student deals, which is operated through a 3rd party. Would that effect the hash?

Was it through Microsoft via Digital River Downloads ?

Edit: Did you DL the 32 bit or the 64 Home Premium ?

Is your download link still valid, that you could DL the .iso file again, as it might have got corrupted.

Yes, my last student that ordered the DVD about 2 months ago, took 2 weeks to get it in the mail.
I sure our crew here will get you up & running through this whole process

Are you downloading with Wireless, as wireless can corrupt?

If burning new ISO to DVD using ImgBUrn at 4x speed with Verify doesn't help, try writing it to flash stick using this tool with Windows7 in the drop-down menu: Universal USB Installer – Easy as 1 2 3 | USB Pen Drive Linux

Then boot the stick under USB or HD's in BIOS boot order or using one-time BIOS boot menu given on first screen.

So the official DVD came in the mail this morning, but I get the same result. So you think my next step should be to wipe my HDD using that tutorial Doc Brown supplied? Any other hardwear things I should try first?
